Carlo Alberto Bentivoglio 

I am a PhD student of E-learning and Knowledge Management at University of Macerata. My current research interests is the automated analisys of collaborative environment (e.g. discussion forum) using symbolic and subsymbolic tools.  At the same time, I am interested in the use of metaphor in didactics of computer programming and mathematics.

My past research interest were multimedia technologies didactics (I have written, with Aldo Caldarelli, the course book Tecnologie multimediali - audio e video), operational research, graph theory and computational complexity. In this context, my effort was mainly devoted to the cutting sequencing problem (an optimization problem close to the gate-matrix layout problem).
